Vision
Our vision has two components
First, we will use the Chinese Silk Road as both an economic model as well as a great historical reference.
For over 2000 years, the caravans of the Arabs with trade in China had not any interferences not conflicts. The Silk Road or roads have covered both the longest land route as well as the other road by way of the ocean. This 2000 years of the commercial trade is now becoming such vision is because, to be able to conduct fair trade, without wars was due to the absence of greed nor deception, Even with the coming and going of the empires with one of the most powerful rulers such as Genghis Khan, the emperor of Yuan in China with his khans kingdom stretched all the way into Europe. The trade on the SilkRoad was never interrupted. This exchange on the SilkRoad between Europe and Asia had lasted until the European conquest of the Americas.
This vision in seeing the replication of the SilkRoad on our time of modernity and with great communication tools will be able to replica such legacy and returning to the time and period of good trade, fair trade and without conflicts or wars. Subsequently, in the formation of the present day Chinawest, we have not only the engagement with the ideas of the old SilkRoad, by accompanying the development presently of the Asian/Europe route. With our long term engagement with South and Latin America -- Chinawest had also begun our own Latin American Silk Road named CASELA. CASELA derived from the word - Camino De Seda - Latina America. Thus, CASELA. The Silkroad is now a cross-continental idea as the SilkRoad has moved beyond the land and sea in the past, CASELA is now onto the cyberspace and into the world of our digital era. Like CASELA, the African Silk Road will also be expanding and all in the spirit of peace and harmony - This repeat, or renaissance of the Silk Road is now an economic vision suitable by all. It will be just as peaceful and engaging with all the regional economies of the world. To render help and assistance to those who are in need of assistance, no less than what China had done with the poverty alleviation program in these past 40 years. Likewise, The CASELA and the proper SilkRoad mission will be fostering the same. It is not based on the "looting" of natural resources or looting of the wealth of those who have less. But to be engaged with all our global neighbors and to provide the sort of economic development suitable for all.
Economocracy will come by way of the economic development of both CASELA and the SilkRoad in Asia and Europe. The world has been all rallying behind the most cherish idea and concept of "Democracy". But it is our view, where the world citizens have also been maturing with their learning and awareness of their own economic sustenance, to be able to have better management of their own economic issues and affairs. Economocracy is the vision to empower all of the people from any area of this planet -- to exercise their right of representation in any democracy, but at the same time, to be also managing their own "economic" affairs. Regardless of the size of one's economy or their own economic state in any society. For those who have greater economic power, we can render support and services for those who have less. Again, with all bias, the best example is to see the rise of the Chinese economy in these past 40 years. China has alleviated over 600 plus millions of their own people out of poverty. That is not much to say about this alleviation namely have lifted those who used to be making merely one US dollar a day. This poverty alleviation had done without impacting the other dynamic economic growth in other regions. China had surged and into becoming the second or near the first major economy in this planet without firing a gun or a bullet, Thus, economic gains and economic stability can be achieved based on the planning of the government along with the discipline of their management in their government. Democracy without the support of a good and sustainable is not a solid democracy. Democracies, when the people are being exploited by the excessive cost of money with interest, remains to be in one form of "slavery" by the abuse of those who are in the higher hierarchy in any society. Economocracy is where the people will have their democratic representation by vote and at the same time can have a sustainable living -- No more and no less.

Chinawest 1977 is the year when our modest business had begun here in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We have begun with the Chinawest Jewelers but over the period less than 10 years, we have been progressively moving onto the global distribution of color gemstones from Brazil and during that same period of time, we have grown into a vertically integrated business in the gemstone industry from retail to wholesale to the globally operated company.
We have also begun our mining in Minas Gerais, Brazil and the extensive stone purchase between Brazil and the Uruguayan border, in the city of Artigas. We stay focus with just one color of amethyst. Soon the demand for our products had grown viral, with the many international companies demanding of the standardized cut of color stones.
We have sold to the major manufacturers in Asia with our own gemstone cutting operations settled in the following areas: South Korea, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Thailand and bordering Burma in Mae Sai, near Chiang Mai in Thailand. Joint ventures were set up by the gemstone masters from Germany with the speediest of the global logistics where we managed to move our stones, well prepared, well sorted of color to Hong Kong and then, distributing throughout Southeast Asia.
In less then ten years, we have moved the entire cutting company into Guangzhou, Guangdong, China and eventually with more cutting companies moving into Wuzhou, Guangxi. This has been an epic journey to have moved from Latin America, from Brazil and Uruguay, with joint team and partners from Germany to have created one of the large and yet very efficient cutting centers inside China.
We had turned our dream of an "idea" of a global and adventures business with full accountability. It is no longer a dream, but the pragmatism of the industry that had made us become more alert toward the system of efficiency, along with performances and accountability.
Our capital was limited but soon, we have gathered the financial support by our own banks based on the volumes of demand and the reputation of the buying companies in the US and by putting our end products onto the manufacturers of gold jewelry in Asia as we have followed them from Thailand to China.
